Founded in 1989, Forrest Painting is an independent painting contractor based in Basalt, CO. We work with the top builders in the Roaring Fork Valley area, painting medical facilities, showrooms, condominiums, and more. We also offer other trade services, including sandblasting and drywall repair.
We have a 3,200-sq. ft. facility where we do spray booth painting for different materials, as well as a fleet of 14 trucks and material trailers. We also have a full-time office and accounting staff that ensures all in-house management needs are in order.

Enrique Pena
CEO
Enrique Pena has been in the painting and finishing industry for over 20 years. He is highly experienced in color and finishing processes, specializing in color matching. He is also a top-shelf applicator and is one of the best in faux finishing in the area.
In addition, Enrique’s communication and management skills make him well-suited as an operations manager who controls our projects’ quality and process. Throughout the years, Enrique has displayed an unrivaled work ethic and a passion for learning.
Luis Pena
COO
For over 10 years, Luis has worked in different areas at Forrest Painting, improving his skills in sandblasting, staining, finishing, consulting, and estimating. During this time, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in business from CMU to further his knowledge in project management, safety coordination, and administrative work.
Luis is also bilingual and OSHA-certified. With experience in detailed bids/estimates, unrivaled work ethic, and management skills, Luis strives for excellence in all areas of his field.
